Are the water and oil lines tee’d together or do they both drip seperately at the same point or what ?

More info please. I know nothing about pellet stoves in particular how the auger works so I do not understand the solenoid set up.

My home is off the grid and I recognized concept of steam as an automizer earlier. Only seen is used with a Babington though.

How much water (I have no running water either) does it user per hour?

Steam explosions will make it atomize, very good!

what do you use the water for?

What function does the water line provide? Do you mix WVO and water or are they kept separate? Can you show placement of pipes inside stove? Great effort! I would like to try this if I can get more details! Thanks.

Any chance you could show the coil that is inside the stove?

No problems so far. I have not really exaimined the exaust fan, but the stove pipes stay clean. This is only the second winter for the corn stove. I have been burning WVO in an older pellet stove for several years using various burners, without any blower or exhaust problems. I have had several poor designs that would cause carbon and smoking problems. Nothing that didn’t simply burn out once the issue was resolved.

what about the blower and exhaust motor?…they don’t get all gunked up?
I would think the exhaust motor would get all gummed up thus reducing the life of the motor.
    I could be wrong….

No, I have not tried Waste motor oil, however it should work fine. I have had no trouble getting all the Waste Vegetable Oil I can use for free. Burning WVO is cleaner than burning WMO. Solenoid valves can be found at a big discount on ebay. My solenoid valve is an ASCO 120VAC 2 way Normally Closed 1/4″ Pipe 15 PSI and 10.5 watts.

The burner can be operated without the Solenoid valve as long as you attend the operation. Attended operation is the way to go, at least that is my sugestion.

Have you tried used motor oil in this setup?

Where did you get the electric soloniod at?

Thanks for sharing this, looks very easy to do, would you do anything different about your setup if you had to do it again?
